If you read my blogs, you will know that the week before last I talked about a friend and what she does for others. I mentioned that she had organised two tea parties to introduce my book. Last Wednesday was the second party. The diversity of ages, nationalities, opinions and professions of her guests brought a beautiful colour to the already beautiful set-up of the house.
My friend, the hostess, had the idea of asking each of her guests to read to themselves one of the topics in the book chosen at random. Each topic is only a page and a half or so long. My friend gave me permission to reproduce here one of the photos that she took while this was happening. There were interesting questions and interactions. I enjoyed meeting everyone, interacting with them and hearing what they had to say. I loved the diversity.
When people approach me with problems, I can see ways of getting out of them and my book is a direct guide to start the process. Once you start, then you will know what to do.
