A lot of misunderstandings arise in relationships. When it is our parents, we feel they do not understand us, when all they do is protect us and guide us the way they know. When it is our children, we think we know them so well that we could vouch for them without hesitation. But we do not know our children. How could we if we do not know ourselves? When it is at work, all kinds of issues can come up. As a couple, living together is a delicate situation: it needs good skills to keep the relationship well balanced, otherwise it could end in separation or accepting what we would rather not have.
All in all, every relationship has its ups and downs. The key to maintaining the right balance is to remember that those who surround us are only energies doing their own thing. If we put our attention on what our thing is, then all will be well.
