Habits control many people. Have you stopped to think how many things you do as habits? How have you started to do each of them? Normally it can be due to a belief; something you believe strongly. Who put the idea into your head? When? What situation were you in emotionally when that happened?

Here is a suggestion:

Make a list of all your daily habits. Next to each of them write what you get out of them – positive or negative. Now take a blank sheet. Blank out your mind as well for a few seconds and then start writing a list of the things you really want from the heart, without looking for or thinking of anything.

Having made the list, visualise how far you can reach with it. You can compare it with the previous one and see which you obtain more benefit from. Now you are in a position to choose.
