There is a lot of talk about our shadows; that they have to be dealt with. Many already know what they are doing, but many more will ask themselves, where are they? Do we see them? How do we go about it?
We must go back to childhood, when we learn what behaviours and emotions are acceptable according to our family and our social and cultural environment. There we begin to repress what is not accepted and we put it into our shadows. This process of repression can lead us to project these unrecognised aspects onto others, criticising in them what we do not accept in ourselves.
Accepting our shadows involves a process of self-exploration and self-compassion. By recognising our repressed aspects, we can integrate them into our consciousness, allowing us to live more fully and authentically. This journey into shadow integration helps us heal emotional wounds, overcome self-destructive patterns, connect with past lives and develop greater empathy for ourselves and others.
Are you ready to get started? Self-satisfaction will fill you completely.
